Village Revenger

Village Avenger tells the story of a village ruled by the monster Kraken ushered in an adventurer, she has to pass a series of tests and levels to get the right weapons and supplies, and finally challenge the monster to save the village.
The entire game uses the traditional third-person adventure gameplay. Players through the manipulation of the character to complete a test, and finally challenge the monster to win the victory.

Level Design Part 1

We have designed a total of five levels in the whole game, and the order of difficulty of these five levels will be upgraded one by one. The first two puzzles are very basic puzzle aimed to let the player familiar with how the game work.

Level Design Part 2

After completing two relatively simple levels, the player will enter the lava pool, where the player can freely choose the order of the raid level, but also can choose to directly challenge the boss.

Boss Design Part 1

As the closing of the whole game, we designed two combat mechanics in the final boss level.

The first is that the player needs to keep moving in the air platform to dodge the bullets shot from
the distant turret, and finally arrive safely at the opposite shore and solve them.

Boss Design Part 2

And when the player finished solving the turret, the player will need to face the boss directly. We designed the entire boss battle map as a square, just like a ring. And when the player kills the boss, a congratulatory UI will pop up and the whole game will be over.
